Bio

Jeremy began learning the Drums at the age of 13 and through music lessons was able to go deep into the world of Drums/Percussion. He was taught how to hold a disciplined practice routine, learned about connecting with others and communicating your ideas intentionally and directly on a musical and personal level, and came to understand the power of embracing a highly analytical way of thinking fueled by the open minded joy of the moment. Having started teaching professionally at 19, Jeremy’s gentle nature and positive attitude are best brought out when he is passing those lessons on to his own students. Jeremy started playing in juice bars and hotel lobbies when he was 16 and started gigging with older musicians, playing Jazz, at 17. At this age, his skill on drums, ability to absorb information, and intense drive to learn began to clash with the perspectives of real world musicians which helped carve Jeremy into the high level player and compassionate person that he is today. From there, he continued to gain experience by taking on the role of Sound Engineer/Roadie for Colorado’s premiere wedding band, where he traveled across the state working long days and absorbing as much as he possibly could. Jeremy Gray is a rare 20 year old in that he already possesses the ability to create a strong foundation for support and blend that with the awareness, maturity, and fearlessness it takes to truly drive creation. Above all, Jeremy believes in the unique power all musicians hold to light up a room and bring people together, to connect with the feeling of a moment and create a tangible expression, and to share the love of being alive with everyone around you and empower us all to grow together.
