I am a classical flutist and flute teacher in Fort Collins. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Brigham Young University and a Master of Music degree in Music Performance from Arizona State University. Recently I competed in the Da Capo Alliance Salt Lake Flute Forum Performance competition and won First Prize. I have participated in many master classes and festivals including the Da Capo Alliance Paris Flute Class, the Snow College Flute Festival, and the European American Music Alliance in Paris, France in which I was a recital soloist and received honors in counterpoint. I have performed in master classes with flutists including Carol Wincenc, Bonita Boyd, Linda Chesis, Amy Porter, Thomas Robertello, and Brad Garner.

I have performed as Principal Flute of the Sustainable Symphony in Tempe, Arizona, the Lyric Opera Orchestra at ASU, the Sinfonietta at ASU, the Wind Symphony at BYU, and as Piccolo player with the Philharmonic Orchestra at BYU. I have also performed with many chamber groups including the Baroque Ensemble at ASU and the Flute Choir at BYU, including a performance at the National Flute Association Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

I have taught lessons and flute clinics in Utah, Arizona and Colorado. I have experience teaching young beginners as well as advanced students and adult amateurs. I co-founded and co-directed the South Summit Children’s Choir, was Middle School Honor Choir director, and was the Elementary Music Specialist for South Summit School District. I was also the Flute Specialist at Corona Del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona.

I am currently taking new students. Call or email me to schedule a lesson.
