Lesson Rates

$25 per half hour
$100 per month

Her piano students are taught:

  • How to read music and understand theory including counting
  • As the students advance they are taught scales and chords
    **if interested she teaches improvisation and the ability to play by ear.

Details Regarding lessons, workshops and recitals:

  • Lessons are weekly and last 30 minutes
  • We have 1 1/2 hour long workshops 2-3 times each year
  • We have two recitals each year: one in early December and one in early June.

Singing Students benefit from her experience as a professional singer where she has soloed with orchestras: singing/dancing/acting in musicals. She has directed many musicals and productions throughout the years.

Cecilia Burrough is an accomplished pianist who has played in clubs, for weddings, theater and churches for most of her life. She is a professional musician who offers piano lessons that are designed with the needs and desires of the student. She teaches ages five through adult; beginning through advanced.

She will teach improvisation to people interested in Contemporary Christian music often known as Praise and Worship music. She will teach you to add chords, runs and various styles to music so that you play more then music on the page. Her experience comes from beginning as a church accompanist for services and choirs at the age of 15.

She also teaches rag-time, classical, jazz and playing by ear: off the page. She has directed musical theater as well as Christian cantatas.
